“The Bear and the Piano”

by David Litchfield

Hello, kids! How are you? Today we will listen, watch and read about a Bear who finds a piano in the middle of forest. Let’s watch it!

If you want to read it several times, here is the pdf for you to enjoy and practise reading aloud. You can always check the video for the correct pronunciation.

Now let’s work on the following activity. In the story the bear works very hard and follows his dream of doing something he loves. Think about a time you have worked hard, draw a picture or include a photo of that time and write a sentence. Look at my example.

Working hard for my dreams

I wanted to be a teacher of English, I studied hard and after some years I became a teacher. I love teaching! I felt proud when I got my degree.

Now it is your turn, think about when you stopped going to your parents’ bed, or when you rod the bike without the mini wheels for the first time, when you were able to cut the meals by yourself, when you learnt to read without help or to tie your laces.
