Hello everybody! How are you today? Are you ready to learn a new sound? Let's start working with the long “ie” sound.
We can see an “i” letter, a space and an “e” letter.
The letter “i” is a vowel and it makes two sounds. The short “i” as in “ink” or “igloo” or “insect” But it also makes a second sound. The long “i” sound. It says its name! Because…
Sometimes, “When two vowels go walking the first one does the talking”
Let's see some examples and practise some blending together!
Now, let's read the words. Then, you can print this worksheet and cut and stick the drawings in the correct place. Or you can just simply draw each one of them.
In the next worksheet you have to choose the correct word from the Bank Word and write it under the picture.
Don't forget to send a picture of your work to my email fcalvo@northfield.edu.ar
